As an initiative from the group Eiffage, the carbon & climate platform Sekoya helps animate a "low-carbon industrial club", bringing together large groups, SMEs and startups with technical low-carbon solutions.

    WHAT IS SEKOYA IN PRACTICE?

Both resistant and resilient, sequoia trees are among the oldest trees in the world. They are a true demonstration of the power of nature, as reflects the world's largest sequoia tree, Hyperion, after which the tallest wooden residential tower in France -implemented by Eiffage- was named.

Named after these natural carbon sinks, Sekoya, Eiffage and Impulse Partners' carbon & climate platform, aims to deploy low-carbon solutions to tackle climate change.

THE CARBON & CLIMATE PLATFORM IN A NUTSHELL:

WHY CREATE A CARBON & CLIMATE PLATFORM?

    A climate emergency

    • The construction sector is the second largest emitter of greenhouse gases, causing climate change.
    • Committed to a low-carbon approach since 2007, Eiffage has made the fight against climate change a main pillar of its strategy since 2016.

    A collective response

    • Sekoya aims at qualifying and implementing innovative technical low-carbon solutions.
    • The selected solutions will benefit from a privileged relationship with the platform's partners (internal referencing of solutions, calls for bids, POC...).
